In late 2018, the ICTI Ethical Toy Program strengthened some checkpoints and offered a one-year grace period for factories to take necessary actions. The grace period ended on 31 December 2019 and the checklist has therefore been updated to reflect these changes. In addition, IETP always encourages continuous improvement and transparency in the supply chain, and so we have reduced issue severity for factories that show on-site transparency.
