Family-Friendly Spaces (FFS) are factory based childcare facilities which support factory workers in China who have migrated domestically for work and, as a consequence, live separately from their children.
Our FFS program grew to its biggest size ever in 2019, with FFS operating at 30 factories accommodating 1,100 children and supporting 1,240 workers with their child-care needs.
FFS offer multiple benefits for participating workers and their children, transforming parent-child relationships and supporting the developmental needs of children. FFS are also hugely positive for participating factories, with all reporting major benefits from operating FFS.
IETP and CCR CSR are hosting a complimentary webinar to reflect on the successes of this year’s FFS program and highlight opportunities to companies participate in the program in 2020.
