In May, the annual toy distributors show DISTOY took place in London – with over 200 toy companies from around the world displaying their products. Our team spent the week meeting with toy brand and licensor exhibitors to highlight the benefits of Ethical Toy Program membership and explain the tools and support we offer to support ethical manufacturing through managing risks, protecting and enhancing brand reputation and increasing supply chain efficiencies.We are pleased to report that several DISTOY members have since joined our program as Buyer members. These members join others which have joined the Ethical Toy Program in 2019, recent new members include Schleich, Games Workshop, Wicked Cool Toys and Relevant Play. During the week Mojo Nation and The Toy Association hosted their annual music quiz providing an evening of networking and entertainment in a more relaxed setting.
