所有参与家庭友好工厂项目的工厂均参加初步需求评估，从而让我们为他们建议量身订造、能满足工厂需求的政策、设施、活动。
通过推行IETP的家庭友好空间项目，提供雇主资助的儿童照护服务
雇主资助培训和为父母工人而设的帮助，协助他们建立新技能
工作场所政策比如灵活的工作安排、增加育儿假，使父母工人受益
借助联合国儿童基金会的家庭友好政策的指引及专家建议，IETP开发了家庭友好工厂项目来优化家庭友好政策，从而建立促进工厂工人身心健康的工作环境。
我们的研究显示，缺乏可负担、安全、可获得的儿童照护服务是工厂工人离职的头号原因。我们明白聆听工人心声的重要性，而IETP的家庭友好工厂（FFF）项目协助工厂回应工人的反馈。
FFF项目鼓励工厂推行家庭友好政策，从而建立更好的工作环境，使肩负起家长、照护者的责任的工厂工人能平衡工作、个人生活、儿童照护的时间。
